IAMO ends its activities on the platform X
The Institute is discontinuing its activities on the social media platform X. We are thus following the path of the Leibniz Association and other scientific institutions that have recently ended their activities on X.

GFFA expert panel on biomass energy technologies and the policy implications

The Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) analyses economic, social and political processes of change in the agricultural and food sector, and in rural areas. The geographic focus covers the enlarging EU, transition regions of Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe, as well as Central and Eastern Asia.

The IAMO Forum 2025 will be held from 18 to 20 June 2025 on “Rural Roots and Routes: Navigating Complexities of Quality of Life, Immobility, and Migration” in Halle (Saale), Germany.
