IAMO researcher at the International Forum of Landlocked Developing Countries in Tashkent
From 5 to 6 September 2024, researcher Ihtiyor Bobojonov took part in the International Forum of Landlocked Developing Countries on “Food Security and the Sustainable Development Goals”. He emphasised the importance of pilot activities to assess the effectiveness of agricultural policies.
Serbian young researchers visit IAMO XR Lab
Students from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, undertook a research trip to IAMO in the period from 1 July to 31 August 2024. The participants were shown how immersive digital technologies can be used to study consumer behaviour.

The Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) analyses economic, social and political processes of change in the agricultural and food sector, and in rural areas. The geographic focus covers the enlarging EU, transition regions of Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe, as well as Central and Eastern Asia.
