Scholarships
Philipp Schwartz Fellowships
IAMO supports researchers at risk within the Philipp Schwartz Initiative of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. In particular, researchers in agricultural economics who have come under pressure since the Russian invasion of Ukraine are addressed. Research stays of up to 24 months, with the option to extend for another 12 months, are possible. Further information can be found here.
IAMO Visiting Research Fellowships
IAMO awards two-year research fellowships to excellent postdoctoral and senior scientists who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and strive to advance the state of the art. Further information on the fellowship programme and the application procedures can be found here.
IAMO Graduate School

Vocational Education
Since 1997 IAMO regularly offers vocational education in different administrative fields and participates in the system of dual vocational education and training. Further information about the education can be found here.
Networks
IAMO is an active member of the Dual Career Network Central Germany. The network aims to help dual career couples integrate vocationally, ensuring inclusive and family-friendly staff development.
IAMO is listed on www.findyourpension.eu. The initiative aims to support people employed in the research (public) sector in navigating within the European pension landscapes and in dealing with their different pension claims.
