Transfer of IAMO
IAMO supports a lively exchange between the scientific community and the non-academic world. The aim is not only to provide information on the results of its research, but also to contribute directly to solving social, economic and agricultural policy challenges in the target regions. The transfer concept is guided by the Leibniz Association's Leibniz Transfer model, the institute's statutory mission, and IAMO's specific challenges, particularly in relation to the institute's central target regions.
Transfer formats
Conceptually, four transfer formats can be listed, which have specific characteristics and address different target groups:
- Transfer through interaction and dialogue - transdisciplinary cooperation structures
- Transfer through minds - sustainable capacity building and career promotion
- Transfer through events and information - events, publications and media activities
- Transfer through consultancy - classical policy advice and membership in boards
