A new study at IAMO examines the impact of agricultural support programmes in the Republic of Moldova. Farming continues to play an important role in the former Soviet republic, especially fruit and wine growing.

This year, IAMO Forum will take place as an online conference on the topic "Agrifood systems in the bioeconomy" from 07 to 09 June 2021. Registration for this event is open until 3 June 2021.

The policy brief looks at the benefits of futures markets for farmers and gives recommendations on which hedging strategies can be of advantage.

Within the framework of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA), the virtual panel discussion on “How to better cope with change: New approaches for food system resilience to pandemic and climatic shocks” will take place today from 10:30 to 11:30 am (CET).
