Once the doctorate has been successfully completed, many graduates will be faced with the question of what to do next in their careers. Which perspectives do research, teaching, administration or the private sector offer? With Dr. Arlette Ostermeyer-Wiethaup and Dr. Andreas Gramzow, two IAMO Alumni provide information about their professional careers and are available to answer questions about career development after graduation outside the academic world.
Dr. Arlette Ostermeyer-Wiethaup conducted research in the Department of Structural Change and today runs an agricultural business. Dr. Andreas Gramzow conducted research in the Agricultural Policy Department and is now head of the Bilateral Cooperation Programme of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture (BMEL) at GFA Consulting Group GmbH.
The event is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about postgraduate career paths within and outside the academic world. It will be held in English and is part of the "IAMO Career Talks" series. The Career Talk is organised in cooperation with IAMO's Sustainability Working Group and the IAMO Alumni e.V. association. Prior registration is not necessary and admission is free of charge.
