Bahareh Mosadegh Sedghy is a tenured faculty member at the Dhillon School of Business, University of Lethbridge, Canada. She earned her Ph.D. from University Laval, specializing in risk management in agriculture. In June 2022, she embarked on a one-year study leave as a guest researcher at IAMO. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Bahareh served as a senior economist at a housing corporation for seven years. In addition to her focus on the residential industry, she held a lecturing position at the University of Science and Research in Tehran, Iran.

Her teaching portfolio encompasses the subjects business of agriculture, issues in international markets, Canadian and global agriculture, international trade as well as risk management in agriculture. Furthermore, it includes
research methods, project management, microeconomics, macroeconomics and statistics.
