Shovkat Khodjaev joined IAMO in August 2019 as a doctoral researcher in the department Agricultural Markets. He is working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Thomas Glauben and Dr. Ihtiyor Bobojonov within the frame of the project KlimALEZ. Before joining IAMO, Shovkat Khodjaev was involved as a project consultant at the International Water Managment Institute in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In 2016, he obtained his MSc on Integrated Water Resources Management from the Kazakh-German University, Almaty, Kazakhstan. Shovkat Khodjaev has reached experience on water resource management and geographical information systems with certificates and degrees from recognized universities and short courses. His main research interests are connected with spatial data, GIS/RS and climate change analysis for making evidence-based solutions on sustainable development of land and water resource management in the Central Asian region and beyond.
