In January 2020, Prof. Dr. Barry K. Goodwin joined IAMO as Visiting Research Fellow in the department Agricultural Markets. He is William Neal Reynolds Distinguished Professor and Graduate Alumni Distinguished Professor in the Departments of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Economics at the North Carolina State University (North Carolina, USA). Goodwin is also a 2018 Holladay Medal recipient. He has held faculty positions at Kansas State University and the Ohio State University. His research and teaching activities are focused on applied economics, policy, trade, and econometrics. In 2006, he was elected a fellow of the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association (AAEA), and 2013-2016 he served as president of the AAEA.
