Max Hofmann studied Biology at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and first came to IAMO in 2014 as a student assistant. Since October 2018, he works as a researcher in the Department of Structural Change. His research focuses on the interplay of land use change and climate change and their effects on cereal yields and ecosystem services. Currently, he is working in the project DSinGIS – Doctoral Studies in Geoinformation Sciences.
