Zur Person

Daniela Ana ist Postdoktorandin am Leibniz-Institut für Agrarentwicklung in Transformationsökonomien (IAMO). Sie arbeitet hauptsächlich im RuWell-Projekt. Sie studierte Anthropologie an der Central European University (MA, Juni 2015) in Budapest, Ungarn, und am Max-Planck-Institut für Sozialanthropologie (PhD, Juli 2019) in Halle, Deutschland. Ana ist Sozialanthropologin, deren Forschungsschwerpunkt an der Schnittstelle zwischen soziokulturellen Wertvorstellungen, landwirtschaftlicher Produktion und Umwelttransformation liegt. Sie hat sich auf qualitative Forschungsmethoden spezialisiert, vor allem auf teilnehmende Beobachtung und ethnografische Interviews. Regional konzentriert sie sich auf Osteuropa, insbesondere auf die Republik Moldau und Rumänien. Was sie motiviert, ist ihr starkes Engagement für vergleichende, interdisziplinäre Ansätze. In ihrer aktuellen Forschung konzentriert sie sich auf die Zusammenhänge zwischen Ortsbindung, ländlichen Lebensgrundlagen, Landnutzung und (Im-) Mobilität.
