Within the framework of the ANICANET project a Summer School entitled "Quantitative analysis of animal husbandry in Central Asia" will take place in Halle (Saale), Germany, from 25 to 29 September 2017. Students interested in participating are invited to apply until 13 August.
IAMO scientist invited to the Nobel Laureate Meeting in Lindau
Young scientist Arjola Arapi-Gjini has been invited to participate in the 6th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences, Germany, from 22 - 26 August 2017. She has been chosen by a review panel of the event’s advisory board.

IAMO adopted its own Open Access Policy. The institute is committed Open Access and encourages its researchers to publish in accordance with the Open Access principle.

As part of the IAMO Forum 2017 IAMO today at 9 am hosts the panel discussion "Fit for the Future – Innovative and Sustainable Eurasian Food Chains". Dr. Shenggen Fan, Director General of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), will hold the introductory keynote.
