On 11 May 2021, the Leibniz Research Network R will host an online conference on "Spatial Development and Corona". IAMO has been part of the network "Spatial Knowledge for Society and Environment" since 2020 and is co-organiser of the event.

The bilateral cooperation project German-Sino Agricultural Center (DCZ) has been extended until March 2022.
