On 18 November, IAMO organized an online dissemination workshop on "Digital Innovations in Agricultural Insurance" for stakeholders from business, politics and research. The event was part of the KlimALEZ project.

On 11 November, a consortium of German and Chinese researchers launched the project "Digital transformation of China’s agriculture – resources, trade and food security" (DITAC).

The senate of the Leibniz Association has approved funding for 29 projects totaling 27.6 million euros for the Leibniz Competition 2022. Among them are two projects based at IAMO.
