Within the framework of the International Green Week, an expert panel discussion entitled “How can livestock production contribute to global food security? Farms and industries of the future in Asia and Eastern Europe” takes place on 19 January 2018 in the CityCube Berlin, Germany.

On 14 November 2017, the German-Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue (APD) will host a discussion event at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany, in co-operation with the German Agribusiness Alliance of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations (OA), the DLG e.V. and IAMO.

IAMO jointly with All-Russian Institute of Agricultural Issues and Informatics (VIAPI) carried out a workshop “Agricultural Policies and Agriculture Support in Russia: Theory and Practice” at the Moscow State University, Russia, on 25 October 2017.

On 28 September 2017, three representatives of the Belarusian State University, Department of Geography, and the Belarussian Geographic Society, both based in Minsk, visited IAMO.

Since 25 September, 15 researchers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan join the ANICANET Summer School at IAMO.
