Opening of the exhibition “25 years of IAMO - Faces of Diversity”

As part of the anniversary celebration on 26 June 2019 in Halle (Saale), the exhibition project “25 Years of IAMO - Faces of Diversity” was presented to an international audience for the first time.

Research and knowledge transfer take place in an international and diverse environment at IAMO. The exhibition aims to set a visible example of this diversity at the Institute. IAMO employees were asked what a diverse society means to them, what they value about it and where they see the challenges for it. The participants were photographed during the interview. The exhibition of portraits and statements exemplifies the diverse institute culture that has been lived and developed at IAMO for the past 25 years. The project was initiated and carried out by Franziska Appel and Sven Dryja.

The exhibition “25 Years of IAMO - Faces of Diversity” can be visited by public on 5 July 2019 as part of the Long Night of Science Halle at IAMO. Guests are invited to have their pictures taken and to discuss the topic of diversity.
