“Länder-Analysen” with new design

The new website of the digital “Länder-Analysen” (country analyses) on Belarus, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Central Asia now offers extended research possibilities. Together with five other scientific institutions, IAMO is co-editor of the publication.

The “Länder-Analysen” provide up-to-date information on current events in Eastern Europe and Central Asia for a broad audience from business, administration and the public. The “Länder-Analysen” are written by international scientists and experts. In addition to the relaunch of the website, special editions of all “Länder-Analysen” are also published.

The current issue of the “Ukraine-Analysen” (Ukraine analyses) focuses on the article “The Debate on the Ukrainian Land Market Reform: Setting the Course for Agricultural Policy” by IAMO director Thomas Herzfeld and IAMO scientist Vasyl Kvartiuk. (in German only)

The current issue of “Russland-Analysen” (Russia analyzes) includes a contribution to the topic “How to mobilize the Russia's grain production potential?” by Miranda Svanidze, Linde Götz and Florian Schierhorn. Another article titled “The rise of Russia to the world's largest wheat exporter: Importance for the global grain trade” by Maximilian Heigermoser and Linde Götz. (in German only)

The German-language “Länder-Analysen” are published by the German Association for East European Studies (DGO), the German Poland Institute (DPI), the Research Centre for East European Studies at the University of Bremen (FSO), the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO), the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS), and the Centre for East European and International Studies (ZOiS).
