First Health Action Day at IAMO

Various information and consulting services were offered at IAMO’s Health Action Day. After a lecture entitled "Healthy, strong back" there was the opportunity to use the spinal screening service. Based on the results of the three-dimensional image of one’s spin employees were given individual guidelines and examples of exercises to do for a healthy, strong back. Furthermore, nutrition consultation was offered as well as a practical workshop on a "Healthy diet at work". Interested staff members learnt how to prepare quick and healthy light meals – including a tasting session. Also IAMO colleagues participated in the course "Fitness break at work" or tried physiotherapy sessions.

Petra Zehler, Head of IAMO’s Personnel Administration, who had organized the event, was delighted by the lively response from the colleagues, "With the Health Action Day, we wanted to give the employees valuable tips for more well-being in the workplace and to demonstrate ways to actively reduce health impairments. We are happy about the positive response." The Health Action Day was organized as part of IAMO's occupational health management.
