Book a Scientist - Speed Dating with the Sciences

In the event "Book a Scientist" initiated by the Leibniz Association, Leibniz researchers answer questions on topics that touch on everyday life. The individual, 20-minute talks will take place online on 18 August 2020.

From IAMO, researcher Lioudmila Chatalova will answer questions on the subject of bio-economy. Under the title Resources - should and could we consciously moderate our consumption? the scientist will discuss current developments in this area. After all, Germany wants to become more sustainable. For example, by increasing the use of renewable raw materials, whose imports already account for more than 60 percent. Is a complete switch to alternative resources even possible and sensible? How about rethinking our lifestyles so that neither shortages nor excessive consumption will be the result? Where do we start?

Two dates are available with Lioudmila Chatalova:
