APD Western Balkan: Kick-off of second project phase

08 March 2023 - The second phase of the Agricultural Policy Dialogue Western Balkans was kicked off in a workshop at the IAK Agrar Consulting in Leipzig on 28 February 2023.

With support of the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) the project will stimulate the exchange between various stakeholders across six countries of the Western Balkan (Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia). The Standing Working Group for Regional Rural Development in South East Europe (SWG RRD) presents the counterpart in the region. Like in the first phase, IAMO will offer its key expertise through international experts who will contribute to topical events, such as rural development and climate change. In particular, a team of IAMO researchers around Thomas Dufhues and Judith Möllers will participate in the upcoming Study on Rural Women in the Western Balkans.
