On 1 July starts at IAMO the research project “The Role and Functions of Bioclusters in the Transition to a Bioeconomy (TRAFOBIT)”. Within the five-year project, a research group headed by IAMO researcher Frans Hermans will examine the role of so-called “bioclusters”.

Once a year, the Leibniz Association organizes an event entitled “Leibniz in the German Bundestag”. In this context researchers from IAMO met with members of parliament in Berlin to hold bilateral discussions.

The presentations held on 24 and 25 May at the Expert Round Table "Best practices in export promotion: Experiences in Latin America, Eastern Europe and Central Asia", organized by FAO and IAMO, are now available for download.
