+++ Marten Graubner has been appointed deputy chair of the Chair of Agricultural Management at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. +++ On December 9, 2022, IAMO researcher Abdulla Primov successfully defended his dissertation at Tashkent State Agrarian University (TASU), Uzbekistan. The thesis was titled "Assessing the impact of agricultural crop diversification on farm economic efficiency." Congratulations! +++ We would like to add the dissertation of Christine Pitson on the topic: "Labour Supply, Resilience, and European Agriculture: Generational renewal in the Altmark and Flanders". Christine successfully defended her thesis on July 15, 2022 and we congratulate her on her achievement. +++ At IAMO we warmly welcome the new staff members Arbnora Shala and Johnson Kansiime in the Agricultural Policy Department.
