The project “Transnational Families, Farms and Firms: Migrant Entrepreneurs in Kosovo and Serbia from the 1960s to today” (TraFFF) held its first thematic workshop.
The second phase of the Agricultural Policy Dialogue Western Balkans was kicked off in a workshop at the IAK Agrar Consulting in Leipzig on 28 February 2023.
On 2 and 3 March 2023 IAMO hosted a research workshop of the Structured Doctoral Programme on Sustainable Agricultural Development in Central Asia (SUSADICA). During the workshop doctoral students presented their research findings and plans for the following activities were prepared.

The articles were written within the framework of the IAMO projects on land reform in Ukraine (Landreform UA) and the German-Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue (APD-Ukraine), with the contribution by Inna Levkovych on changes in land use in Ukraine, and Taras Gagalyuk as responsible editor.
In October 2022, the RuWell team of researchers around Dr. Antje Jantsch and Dr. Arjola Arapi-Gjini engaged in fieldwork in rural Albania and Kosovo. The aim was to pretest existing interview guidelines for the upcoming qualitative research, an essential part of the RuWell project.
