The official ceremony took place on 13 June 2019 at Tashkent State Agrarian University during a visit of a IAMO delegation and was reported on by national media. During the meeting, activities in ongoing projects and future projects were discussed. Currently, IAMO is implementing several projects in Uzbekistan, which involve strong cooperation with several local universities, companies and government agencies, for instance IPReS, KimALEZ, DETECCT, SUSADICCA and DSinGIS.

For great achievements in development of education and agricultural science, the Tashkent State Agrarian University, Uzbekistan, awarded the title of “Honorary Doctor of Science” (Dr. h.c.) to IAMO Director Prof. Dr. Thomas Glauben.
