ENHANCE Summer School 2017

Within the project "ENHANCE - Building an Excellency Network for Heightening Agricultural Economic Research and Education in Romania" a summer school is to be at the University of Agricultural Science and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) in Bucharest, Romania. The summer school aims to start with basic welfare economic notions like the Pareto principles and dead-weight losses and then apply standard instruments of policy analysis to the different pillars of the Common Agricultural Policy. More innovative and broader tools applied by evaluation scholars such as qualitative analysis will be applied towards the end of the course. Over the week, students will develop a concept for evaluating a specific agricultural policy instrument.
