Hua Zhang joined the department Agricultural Markets in September 2022 as a PhD student within the project “Digital Transformation of China’s Agriculture – Resources, Trade and Food Security” (DITAC). Prior to IAMO, she earned a Master’s degree in Economics from Lanzhou University, China, and a Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in E-commerce at Northeastern University, China. At IAMO, her research is primarily devoted to farmers’ digital technology adoption behaviour and digitalization in rural China.
