Golib Sanaev joined IAMO in January 2019 as guest researcher and is conducting research on the analysis of mechanization and farm labour development in Central Asian agriculture. Golib Sanaev obtained his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Kangwon National University, South Korea. During the PhD course he took courses in Microeconomics Theory, Advanced Microeconomic Theory, Advanced Econometrics and Analysis of Agricultural Policies. The title of his PhD dissertation was "Analysis of Technical Efficiency and the Contract Preferences of Farmers in the Samarkand Region, Uzbekistan." Currently, Golib Sanaev is involved in the SUSADICA project as a local supervisor where he is working with Dr.Djanibekov on Agricltural Innovations and Technology research area.
