Personal details

Janine Läpple joined the Department Agricultural Policy as a PhD student in October 2018. Prior to that, she studied Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz and Peace Research and International Politics at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen. In her master thesis she dealt with the topic of return migration and social change in Kosovo. During her studies she completed internships with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Macedonia and worked at the University of Tübingen as a scientific assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Andreas Hasenclever. At IAMO, migration research with a regional focus on South-Eastern Europe is among her major research interests.
