Behavioral and Experimental Economics
Zafar Kurbanov joined the department of Agricultural Policy in January 2019 as a PhD student within the SUSADICA project. Before his work at IAMO, he had been teaching an undergraduate economics and research methods module at Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT). He completed his MSc. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics with a Fulbright scholarship at the University of Rhode Island, USA. In his research he employs experimental methods, mostly lab and field experiments and uses econometric methods to study how human decisions are influenced by social, institutional, economic and behavioral factors.
