Dr. Lena Kuhn
Agricultural Markets, Marketing and World Agricultural Trade (Agricultural Markets)
Dr. Lena Kuhn joined IAMO’s China Research Group in March 2012 as junior researcher. She holds a PhD degree from the Faculty of Law and Economics of Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg for an analysis of the anti-poverty effect of income transfer in rural China. Her current research focuses on the resilience of Chinese smallholders to climatic, demographic and structural changes, specifically through social and agricultural insurance markets. Since 2016, Dr. Kuhn coordinates the work of the China International Research Group at IAMO.
