Johanna Jauernig graduated at the LMU Munich in Philosopy and obtained her PhD at the School of Management of TU Munich. She wrote her PhD thesis on the use of economic experiments in ethics and conducted several experiments on competition and anti-social behavior that she published in economic journals. She spent research stays at the department of economics at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, and at the department of philosophy at Michigan State University, USA, as a visiting scholar. Her current projects are “Ethical Issues of Land Market Regulations” and “The Effects of Competition on Aggression – an Experimental Investigation”. She also does work on the Ethics of Algorithms, GMO skepticism, moral absolutism and corporate hypocrisy. Her methods comprise economic experiments, conceptional analyses and surveys.
