Personal details

Brett Hankerson joined IAMO in October of 2013 as a graduate research assistant in the Department Structural Change. He received his Master’s degree in Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota, USA. At IAMO, he is a part of the project "Economic and natural potentials of agricultural production and carbon tradeoffs in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Russia (EPIKUR)" and member of the IAMO Land Systems Group. His PhD dissertation is on the topic "Dynamics of livestock production and the potential for development in Kazakhstan".
