Anna Hajdu is an interdisciplinary social and sustainability scientist and has been working as a doctoral researcher at IAMO since 2018. Her research focuses on understanding the motivations of managers of large agricultural enterprises for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, as well as the perceptions of CSR among these and stakeholders. This research is part of The International Competence Center on Large Scale Agriculture (LaScalA) project, funded by the Leibniz Association. Her current focus areas are Argentina, Romania, Russia and Kazakhstan. Anna Hajdu holds a BA in Business Administration (The Bucharest University of Economic Studies-FABIZ), an MSc in Environment and Resource Management (VU Amsterdam) and has also studied for an MSc in Systems Ecology and Sustainable Development (University of Bucharest). Before joining IAMO, she worked as a research assistant on a project funded by the European Research Council (ERC) at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (ISS), where she focused on farmland investments in Romania. She brings extensive experience in fieldwork (in Brazil, Argentina and Romania) and public speaking, as well as over ten years of (project) management experience. Anna Hajdu serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Land Use Science, Habitat International, International Food and Agribusiness Management Review, etc.
