Anti-poverty in rural China based on evidence-based-practice method
Xiaowen Dai joined IAMO in October 2018 as a visiting researcher in the department Structural Development of Farms and Rural Areas (Structural Change). He studied Demography Resource and Environmental Economics at Southwest University of Finance and Economics, China. From January 2013 till now, he is employed as an associate researcher at the Sichuan Agricultural University, China. His main research field is environmental economics especially on agricultural CO2 emission issues. He is also exploring in the field of anti-poverty with evidence-based-practice method in rural China. He will mainly work with the Land Systems Group, in particular, Dr. Daniel Müller and Dr. Zhanli Sun, on the topic "An empirical study on the CO2 emission of inter-regional pork trading: take China as an example".
