Samuel Brea Martinez-Collado joined IAMO as a PhD student in the department of Agricultural Economy and Applied Ethics in November 2021. His research verses on the moral and cognitive drives that condition the social perception towards land markets regulation.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude on the International Master of Science in Rural Development from Ghent University, Belgium, with collaboration from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany, and the Slovak University of Agriculture, Slovakia. He also graduated with honours from a Master in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arkansas, United States. Previously he had worked as financial manager for two NGOs, Action Against Hunger and Junior Achievement.
