Dr. Vera Schenkenberger joined IAMO as a research associate in June 2017. She acquired her Diploma in Business Administration at the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University in Astana and a Master’s of Business Administration in Agricultural Management (MBA-agr.) at Weihenstephan University in Triesdorf. After graduating in Triesdorf she worked as a Coordinator of the same named MBA program at the Woronesh Agricultural University in Russia for a year and moved then to Halle in order to pursue her Ph.D. studies in Agricultural Sciences at IAMO. After defending her dissertation in December 2012 she worked for about 3 years as a research assistant at the Institute of Business Management of the Johann Heinrich von Thuenen Institute (the Federal Research Institute for Rural Areas, Forestry and Fisheries) and later for 2 years as a guest researcher at the Institute for Market Analysis also of the Thuenen Institute in Brunswick. At the IAMO Vera Schenkenberger deals with the entrepreneurial strategies and the organization of agroholdings within the framework of the research project LaScalA. At the same time Dr. Schenkenberger is a lecturer of the module "Supply Chain Management" at Fresenius University in Idstein.
