Salima Bekbolotova is an PhD student ( financed by the UCA-DAAD scholarship) at IAMO in the department of External Environment for Agriculture and Policy Analysis since October 2021. Prior joining IAMO she worked as a M&E specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO UN) in the Kyrgyz Republic. She was a Fulbright Postdoctoral fellow at California Polytechnic State University, USA in 2018 and FMSH Postdoctoral fellow at ENS de Lyon, France in 2017.
Salima is a former Chair of MBA Program at American University of Central Asia (AUCA). In 2016, she set up the Public Foundation Research Center Development along with her fellow colleagues, and founded the biannual Prof. Dzh. Musaeva Scientific Award to support young researchers pursuing studies on Central Asia.
