Egzon Bajrami joined the Department of Agricultural Policy at IAMO in March 2017. His research focuses on analyzing and evaluating the effects of agricultural and food policies and programs across countries in transition, with a focus on the Western Balkans. He is currently investigating farmers` preferences towards extension services and evaluating the effect of existing agricultural policy schemes, with a focus on Kosovo and Albania.
Prior to joining IAMO, Egzon Bajrami worked as an Executive Director of "AgroLED" NGO, office based in Kosovo, where he was responsible for managing various projects in the field of agriculture. In addition, he worked as a consultant for several international organizations including USAID, UNDP, the World Bank, and FAO. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary in Pristina, Kosovo, and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, USA.
