Daniela Ana is a Postdoctoral Researcher at IAMO. Trained in anthropology at the Central European University (MA, June 2015) in Budapest, Hungary, and the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology (PhD, July 2019) in Halle, Germany. She specializes in qualitative research methods, primarily participant observation and ethnographic interviews. Regionally, she focuses on the Republic of Moldova and Romania, as well as Germany. Her research interests include human-environment relations, anthropology of food and wine, soil knowledge and soil care practices, labour studies, and migration.
