Personal details
Milad Abbasiharofteh joined IAMO in March 2019 as researcher in the department Structural Change. He studied Urban Agglomerations at the Frankfurt/Main University of applied Sciences, Germany. From November 2015 to February 2019, he was employed as a research assistant at Academy for spatial research and planning (ARL) in Hanover, Germany. His PhD thesis underlines the dynamic interplay between driving forces behind radical and incremental innovation and knowledge networks. In the project TRAFOBIT (The role and functions of bioclusters in the transition to a bioeconomy), he investigates the knowledge networks within and across bioclusters and defines a typology based on their structural characterisations.
