Personal details
Maximilian Heigermoser joined the agricultural markets department as a PhD student in July 2017. At the institute he is involved in the projects STARLAP and UaFoodTrade. In his doctoral research he investigates processes of price formation in Black Sea grain markets. Hereby, trade relations with major grain importers in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region – Egypt in particular – are at the centre of interest. The methodological focus is on time series econometric models to analyse price transmission and price volatility.
