Dr. Sören Prehn joined IAMO in April 2012 as a researcher in the Department Agricultural Markets. After his study of agricultural economics at the University of Kiel, Germany, he did his PhD at the Chair of Agricultural Price Analysis under Prof. Dr. Bernhard Brümmer at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany. Dr. Sören Prehn’s PhD thesis focuses on agricultural trade analysis and econometrics; his current research focus is agricultural futures markets and econometrics.
