Evaluation of competitiveness
Dr. Inna Levkovych has been a research associate in the Department Agricultural Markets at IAMO since 2003. She studied at the State Agri-ecological Academy of Ukraine and graduated in agricultural economics from the Master’s Program in Sustainable Agriculture in Transition Countries at the Agricultural Department of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU), Germany. Levkovych holds a PhD in agricultural economics from MLU. She wrote her thesis on "The Ukrainian foreign trade with agri-food products". Her areas of expertise include agricultural markets, international trade, agricultural and trade policy - particularly in CIS countries - as well as the evaluation of competitiveness. Since October 2012 Dr. Inna Levkovych has coordinated, together with Prof. Dr. Heinrich Hockmann, the 7th Framework Programme Project COMPETE – International comparison of product supply chains in the agro-food sector. Furthermore, she works on international trade of the Ukraine with products of the agri-food sector and is involved in the AGRICISTRADE project.
