Department Administration

Administration and Central Services/Technical Support

The Department Administration and Central Services/Technical Support addresses the functions of HR, budgeting, external funds management, IS/IT, controlling, documentation and statistics, publications, PR, general administration/procurement, the scientific library, building services and utilities and visitor services. The department carries out traditional administrative activities and also takes care of numerous visiting scholars who are invited by IAMO and whose stays are funded by the institute. Another major activity is hosting various academic events with international participation. Stays by visiting scientists and events are organized, administratively hosted and managed in compliance with relevant financial and legal provisions by this department. The department is also responsible for managing IAMO’s visitor apartments and the institute’s lecture hall.
