IAMO director Alfons Balmann has been named one of the 100 most influential people in the German-speaking agrifood scene by policy briefing Agrifood.Table. +++ In September 2024, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP) awarded Alfons Balmann the title of honorary doctor, whilst IAMO researcher Oleksandr Perekhozhuk received the distinction of honorary professor. // read more // +++ On 24 June 2024, Borislav Rajkovic successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Determinants of Consumer Trust towards Food Producers in Serbia: Linkages between Trust Transparency trough Digital Solutions as a Path of Fostering Supply Chain Competitiveness”. +++ We welcome Michael Henke as a new member of staff at the institute. He is head of the IAMO library and works in the administration and central services/technical support department.
