Kick-off meeting of the Alfa Agrar project
30 September 2014 - How can the integration of foreign skilled personnel provide a way for the maintenance of competencies in agriculture?
High quality work in enterprises is closely linked to sufficiently skilled personnel. In the near future many German agricultural enterprises are at risk of losing crucial human resources through the retirement of their aging workforce. At the same time there is an overall decline of the skilled personnel pool due to demographic factors, so that safeguarding skilled personnel can hardly be achieved only through the domestic workforce.
How agricultural enterprises can meet these challenges together with the project Alfa Agrar will be introduced and discussed at the Alfa Agrar kick-off meeting on 30.09.2014, jointly organized by the Argricultural Company Barnstädt e.G., IAMO and the Center for Social Research in Halle e.V. (ZSH).
