The Global Food Crisis – Impact on Wheat Markets and Trade in the Caucasus and Central Asia and the Role of Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine
MATRACC is a joint research project composed of nine mutually-independent organizations based in six different countries. Among the partners, there are six research centres (IAMO-Germany; ICARE-Armenia; GCAD-Georgia; ACEPAS-Kazakhstan; VIAPI-Russia; CACAARI-Uzbekistan), two organizations of higher education (HSE-Russia and SAI-Uzbekistan), and the World Bank with its local offices in the countries under consideration. The lead institution of the joint project is the IAMO.
The MATRACC project is supported by the Volkswagen Foundation and runs over the three-year period 2012-2015.
