13:00 – 19:00 Field Trip to the Ostrauer Agrar GmbH
A half-day excursion will conclude the IAMO Forum 2009. This year, the field trip will take participants to visit the Ostrauer Agrar GmbH situated 20 km north of Halle.
The Ostrauer Agrar GmbH which has emerged from two GDR agricultural production cooperatives is an example how challenges of transformation have been met successfully. The company structure - a network of separate agricultural companies - originates directly from the economic and political changes after 1989. After lunch in a local restaurant, we will visit the company and speak to the managing director.
Simultaneous translation English/German will be provided.
As places for the field trip are limited we ask you to book your tickets in advance when registering for the conference.
Departure: 13:00 by bus from IAMO main entrance.
Tickets: An admission ticket is required to participate in the tour. The participation in the conference tour is a subject of extra confirmation. Registered excursion participants can pick up their ticket at the registration desk. Remaining tickets can be acquired at the registration desk.
