Field Trip

A half-day excursion will conclude the IAMO Forum 2009. This year we will visit the Ostrauer Agrar GmbH (Am Park 5, 06193 Ostrau) that is situated 20 km north of Halle.

The Ostrauer Agrar GmbH which has emerged from two GDR agricultural production cooperatives is an example how challenges of transformation have been met successfully. The company structure - a network of separate agricultural companies - originates directly from the economic and political changes after 1989. We will visit the company and speak to the managing director.
