IAMO Forum

IAMO sees itself as a forum for debate on issues relating to the agricultural and political sectors that are connected with the transition and EU entry of Central and East-European countries. The aim is to derive academic tasks from current agricultural political questions and to analyse them in order to make a contribution to science-based political discussion. IAMO presents its results in research reports, publications, in contributions to scientific conferences, as well as on advisory projects and bodies. As a forum for scientific exchange imparting research findings to interested partners, the institute organizes the "IAMO Forum". This annual conference helps to generate discussions of deserving study questions by scientists, practitioners and those who are socially responsible. It also helps to present previous results and evaluate topically important agricultural and political questions for further scientific innovations.
